The transactions included in your Employment History Extract file depend on your selections for the SSN option, date type and range and file type. The table below describes each of the various profiles and provides an overview of the transactions selected. Each of the profiles below uses the SSN option: ALL SSN'S IN TR FILE and presumes you do not select any additional options such as A98 transactions, A54 transactions, etc.

Specific EFFECTIVE Date* |
Transactions are selected if they are effective on the date specified for the SSN's supplied. Employees who do not have transactions effective on the date specified will not be included. |
Transactions are selected if they are effective on the date specified for the SSN's supplied. If the employee's position is active or on-leave on the date specified, but does not have a transaction effective on that date, the prior transaction will be selected. |
The most current transaction as of the date specified is selected for each position sequence held by the SSN's supplied.

Range of EFFECTIVE Dates |
Transactions are selected if the effective date falls on or within the date range entered. Employees who do not have transactions effective on or within the date range will not be included. |
Transactions are selected if the effective date falls on or within the range entered. If an employee's position is active or on-leave during the date range but does not have a transaction effective on the FROM date, the transaction prior to the FROM date will also be selected. |
