Part H - Full Time Faculty 9 and 10 Month Contract

1.  An employee is considered full time if the sum of all their active and on leave positions greater than or equal to .990 FTE (full time equivalent).

 

2.  An Affirmative Action Code where the first character = F.  Refer to the Occupational Activity Grouping.

 

3.  The primary position class must be one of the following codes:  0351, 0354, 0355, 0356, 0357, 0358, 0359, 0360, 0361, 0362, 0363, 0364, 0365, 0391, 0551, 0554, 0556, 0557, 0558, 0560, 0562, 0564, 2308, 2310, 2320, 2321, 2358, 2360, 2387, 2390, 2393, 2399, 2462, 2463, 2482 or 7894.

Employees whose employment date is between 7/1 and 9/30 will be added to the New Hires report.

Part H - Full Time Faculty Less than 9-10 Month Contract

1.  An employee is considered full time if the sum of all their active and on leave positions greater than or equal to .990 FTE (full time equivalent).

 

2.  An Affirmative Action Code where the first character = F.  Refer to the Occupational Activity Grouping.

 

3.  The duration of appointment code must be one of the following:  Q1, Q2, S1, 01 through 08 and employee's probation code must be a value of "N" or space.  See online PIMS Manual data element item 415 and 430.

Employees with a primary position in this category are evaluated first.  If the employee is selected for this report, no evaluation for the other faculty category is made.

 

Employees in this category are not added to the New Hires report.

Part H -Full Time Faculty 11-12 month contract

1.  An employee is considered full time if the sum of all their active and on leave positions greater than or equal to .990 FTE (full time equivalent).

 

2.  An Affirmative Action Code where the first character = F.  Refer to the Occupational Activity Grouping.

 

3.  The primary position class must be one of the following codes:  0350, 0352, 0353, 0392, 0393, 0552, 2359, 2361, 2364, 2369, 2388, 2391, 2464, 2466 or 2481

Employees whose employment date is between 7/1 and 9/30 will be added to the New Hires report.

Part I - All Other Full Time Employees

1.  An employee is considered full time if the sum of all their active and on leave positions greater than or equal to .990 FTE (full time equivalent).

 

2.  An Affirmative Action Code where the first character DOES NOT = F or X.  Class 1238, 2325, 2353, 2354, 2355, 7180, 7191, 7192, 7200, 7201, 7202, 7210, 7220 and 7221 are included.  Refer to the Occupational Activity Grouping.

Employees whose employment date is between 7/1 and 9/30 will be added to the New Hires report.

Part J - Part Time Employees

1.  An employee is considered part time if the sum of all their active and on leave positions add up to less than .990 FTE (full time equivalent).

 

Part G – Tenure of Full Time Faculty

1.  Only full time faculty from the 9-10 month report and 11-12 month contracts are counted on this report.

 

Part L - New Hires

1.  All full time employees (faculty, except < 9/10 month contract, and staff) who have a position with an employment date in the specified time frame.

 

 

 

 

*  The criteria is applied to the employee's highest time base position.
