Edit Command

The edit (E) command is used to customize a compendium report before it is printed or downloaded by adding, deleting or even changing data and report headings.  Always use discretion when editing as changes could misrepresent data at the campus or systemwide level.

To edit an original or customized report, type an E to the left of the desired report cycle and press enter.  For example:

CODE:  A22   LEVEL:  SYSTEMWIDE SUMMARY

TITLE:  EMPLOYEE TOTALS BY CBID CLASS AND CAMPUS

CATEGORY:  EMPLOYEE SUMMARIES

Cmds     B Browse  E Edit  P Print  D Download

After selecting a report cycle for editing, you will be prompted for the retention period of the report resulting from the current edit.  By default, a retention period of 1 day is entered.  Type the number of days (1- 999) the report is needed and press enter.  For example:

The system will respond with a message indicating the expiration date of your customized report.  Press enter to clear the message.
